" Otaue-matsuri " |

When planting seedlings, farmers take place the festival of otaue-matsuri, while they give thanks for good harvest in the autumn festival.
Rice cultivation has created a faith and culture based on nature worship. Sacred ropes called “Shimenawa” , for example, are made of dried rice straws, and are used to protect sacred buildings or objects from profane.
